The embassies of the USA, Australia, Belgium, Denmark, Spain, Canada, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Portugal, the Republic of Ireland, and France strongly condemn the October 30 attack against "Rainbow Hub", a centre of the Bulgarian organisations that promote equality and the protection of the rights of LGBTQI+ people.
On November 1, the ambassadors Mustafa (USA), Dickson (UK), Feeney (Ireland), Nielsen (Denmark), Robine (France), van der Burg (Netherlands), and chargé d'Affaires Beckers (Belgium) visited the "Rainbow Hub" to express solidarity to their friends and partners after this absurd act of violence.
"The LGBTI rights are basic human rights and we appeal for all Bulgarians to dismiss the violence and intolerance, which do not have a place in any democratic society.“ urge the ambassadors.
